File exhibits and then change their order or numbering

To drop exhibits on the exhibits stamping tool, you can:

  • either click on the file drop zone (shown as a dotted box) and, via your file explorer which then opens, select your exhibits. They are then filed in the same order as they are filed in your file explorer (e.g. alphabetical order or date of last modification),
  • or drag and drop from your desktop or file explorer. The items are then dropped in random order.

After dropping your documents, you can always change the order by dragging and dropping the exhibit in the stamping tool with a continuous click.

By default, the parts dropped in the exhibits stamping tool are numbered from 1.

Here again, you can change the numbering of your exhibits after they have been dropped (in particular if your document communication follows a previous communication in the same case file).

There are two possible methods for doing this:

  • either you enter with your keyboard the exhibit number in the relevant numbering box with white background. Only the number of the document concerned is then modified,
  • or you click on the arrows that appear in this same box when you hover over it with your mouse pointer. The numbering of the exhibit concerned is then modified and the numbering of your other exhibits is automatically incremented accordingly.
